Wi‑Fi sync, not cloud sync

Zinc is offline-first. Sync is a fast, local operation between your devices when you choose to run it.

How it works

  1. Pair your desktop and mobile device on the same Wi‑Fi network.
  2. Sync changes peer‑to‑peer over your LAN.
  3. Keep working offline — new edits queue until the next sync.

What you need

  • Both devices connected to the same local network
  • Wi‑Fi enabled (internet optional)
  • Optional: allow the app through your firewall for discovery/sync

Privacy note

Zinc sync is designed to keep data on your devices and your network. Learn more about the privacy model.
