Wi‑Fi sync, not cloud sync
Zinc is offline-first. Sync is a fast, local operation between your devices when you choose to run it.
How it works
- Pair your desktop and mobile device on the same Wi‑Fi network.
- Sync changes peer‑to‑peer over your LAN.
- Keep working offline — new edits queue until the next sync.
What you need
- Both devices connected to the same local network
- Wi‑Fi enabled (internet optional)
- Optional: allow the app through your firewall for discovery/sync
Privacy note
Zinc sync is designed to keep data on your devices and your network. Learn more about the privacy model.
