No. Zinc is designed to work offline. Internet is optional for downloads/updates and any optional integrations.
How does syncing work?
Zinc syncs between paired devices over local Wi‑Fi. It’s designed to keep your data on your devices and your LAN.
Does Zinc use a cloud account?
Sync is designed to be peer‑to‑peer. If you add optional cloud features later, they should be separate and opt‑in.
Will sync work on public Wi‑Fi?
It can, but some networks block device discovery or peer-to-peer traffic. Home/work networks typically work best.
What happens if I edit the same note on two devices?
