Devices can’t find each other

  • Confirm both are on the same Wi‑Fi network.
  • Some guest networks block device discovery; try a private network.
  • Check firewall rules on desktop for local network traffic.

Sync is slow or stalls

  • Keep both apps open during initial sync.
  • Disable battery optimizations for the app on mobile if needed.
  • Try moving closer to your router or switching to 5GHz.

Conflicts

If the same note changed on two devices, Zinc should prompt you to resolve it and preserve both versions.
