Devices can’t find each other
- Confirm both are on the same Wi‑Fi network.
- Some guest networks block device discovery; try a private network.
- Check firewall rules on desktop for local network traffic.
Sync is slow or stalls
- Keep both apps open during initial sync.
- Disable battery optimizations for the app on mobile if needed.
- Try moving closer to your router or switching to 5GHz.
Conflicts
If the same note changed on two devices, Zinc should prompt you to resolve it and preserve both versions.
